Research and Studies
We are currently working with HomeShare Vermont to research and edit a resource for starting a new homesharing program. We are conducting interviews and gathering information for a series of guides that will be available in 2018.
We recently completed a Program Study for the Salvation Army Rutland Corps Community Center. Our work included extensive interviews with community leaders to determine gaps in social services in Rutland City. We’ve provided program recommendations to the Salvation Army’s Northern New England Division.
A comprehensive list of almost 300 support resources for cancer survivors and their families is now available at the Vermont Cancer Survivor Network (VCSN). The database is searchable by county, organization, and type of assistance. We conducted interviews and completed web research for this database. The project was completed on-time and under budget.
In 2016, we completed an extensive research project for ROC USA to identify financial resources for manufactured home communities. This work required online research and 132 phone interviews with government agencies and organizations in thirteen states to catalog public programs to improve infrastructure and renovate individual homes in cooperatively-owned manufactured home communities. The result of this research is a series of workbooks. A sample is available here. The project was completed on-time and under budget.
